Step into Lofoten’s winter wonderland on snowshoes.
Discover the calm side of the Arctic as you move through snowy valleys and open viewpoints at a relaxed pace. This experience is designed for everyone – families, friends, or solo travelers – who want to explore Lofoten’s magical winter landscapes without the rush.
We start at the meeting point in Henningsvær or nearby area, where your local guide greets you and the group. After a short introduction and gear briefing, you’ll learn how to use the snowshoes and poles — simple and intuitive even for first-timers.
From there, we set off on a gentle 3-hour route through Lofoten’s winter terrain. The pace is easy, with minimal elevation, allowing plenty of time to take in the surroundings: snow-covered valleys, frozen lakes, and panoramic fjord views. Along the way, your guide shares stories and insights about local life, nature, and culture — turning the landscape into a living story.
We end back at our starting point, taking a moment to reflect and exchange tips for your continued adventures in Lofoten.
