October Energy is a women-only yoga and hiking retreat in Lofoten designed to help you meet the shifting season with movement, warmth, and connection. Through energizing yoga, grounding mountain hikes, nourishing food, and fireside stillness, we turn the darker days into a space for replenishment — so you can enter winter not depleted, but deeply restored and recharged.

A Recharging Yoga & Hiking Retreat for Women

This retreat is an invitation to slow down, move your body, and reconnect with nature — surrounded by the dramatic landscapes of Lofoten.

Expect a balanced rhythm of:

  • Morning yoga to awaken body and mind

  • Guided hikes in raw Nordic nature

  • Deep nourishment through food, warmth, and community

What’s Included in the Retreat

Accommodation by the Sea

  • 4 nights at Lofoten Apartments, a beautiful house by the ocean

  • Shared double rooms (2 guests per room)

  • Bed linen & towels included

Nourishing Vegetarian Meals

All meals are lovingly prepared by our chef, Suzie, using fresh, local ingredients.

Guided Mountain Hikes in Lofoten

  • Daily guided hikes (2–4 hours)

  • Routes through white-sand beaches, mountain ridges, and panoramic viewpoints

  • Suitable for active women with basic hiking experience

Sea Kayaking Adventure

One day, we’ll swap the mountains for the water:

  • Guided sea kayaking tour through Lofoten’s fjords

  • All equipment included and arranged by professional guides

Yoga & Mindfulness Practices

  • Daily morning yoga flows led by Fredrikke Jerring

  • Energizing yet grounding sessions suitable for all levels

You need to bring your own hiking gear, but we provide the yoga mat for you. You are also welcome to bring your own mat if you have one. A packing list will also be sent out before the retreat.

Yes, that is possible. The cost to have a private room is 5000 NOK (only 6 available). Just let us know in your booking request and we will organize it for you depending on the availability.

Check-in time is at 15.00 Check-out time is at 11:00 Welcoming Dinner starts at 18:00 Wednesday, on October 21st. We recommend to plan your flights accordingly.

The easiest way to get to Lofoten, is to fly all the way to Svolvær airport: The airport is approximately a 20 min taxi ride away from Lofoten Apartments.

The cheapest way to get to Lofoten, is to fly to Evenes Airport. From there, the 300-bus will get you to Svolvær centre: Book flight tickets here: www.norwegian.no Book bus tickets here: www.reisnordland.no/ Note that the bus only departs at 11.05 and 15.05 each day. From Evenes to Svolvær, so make sure your flight corresponds with this.

All bookings and deposits (5000 NOK) are non-refundable. We will always try our best to help out and in case unforeseen circumstances occur, please reach out to Lofoten Apartments immediately. When you sign up for a spot on our retreat we can only guarantee your spot once the deposit is paid. The totalt amount have to paid to us six weeks prior to the first day of the retreat.
